Lola Boutique Hotel is appreciated for its excellent location in the Saint Michel quarter, opposite the Basilique, making it easy to walk to the heart of Bordeaux and Les Chatrons. The hotel's building has a quirky nature, and rooms are light, airy, spacious, and comfortable; room 32 is mentioned as wonderfully large. Some guests have mentioned that the frosted glass bathroom door doesn't offer much privacy. A top wine bar, Julo, is located next to the hotel, and the view of the St Michel church from some rooms is a plus. The coffee at breakfast is excellent.

the location was acceptable, near enough to get around with no major headaches.

my room felt less like a hotel room and MORE like a storage closet above a lively bar. sleep was impossible the first night because music was blasting until 2am. the 'management' offered free breakfast as compensation, but really, i just wanted some sleep.

Excellent Stay Near the Cathedral

They were very cute! There was great music playing in the background, and the specialty cocktails were wonderful. Martin specifically offered great hospitality and shared stories. The location is very close to the tram station. It is also close to the city center.

The music from the bar kept thumping until 2 am on the first night. I didn't complain since a party was on, but it was not ideal.

The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Martin. He helped when I forgot my bag in a taxi. The taxi driver delivered my bag in ten minutes. It was great.

Breakfast was excellent. The bar area offered a cozy atmosphere. Great specialty cocktails were available! The hotel has a hip feel and plays good music in the background.

the room was clean and modern, i appreciate the air conditioning provided. all staff members were friendly and willing to assist with my requests. the hotel is conveniently located.

The bathroom lacked privacy, as the toilet was part of the bedroom. this felt odd and inconvenient. there was only one overhead light in the room. I would have liked a bedside lamp. the bar music was quite loud until late at night.
